King of the mists visual issues

Basically tied to the extensive load times and textures taking additional time, I cannot see what is apparently damaging me and causing me to get stun locked in the king of the mists fight, and wherever I get teleported to if I survive the stun lock, I walk around and follow the wisps and suddenly start taking DoT from something that is also invisible and die. Can't re-attempt and have literally no idea what even killed me. Really unsure how I'm supposed to complete this fight.
