Idea for future league mechanic. Spread Ideas and creativities

Let's be honest, we would all love to see one of our ideas and creations getting integrated into the game, and with GGG team listening to the community like they did, and like they do right now, it's maybe kind of possible at some degree. Since the Affliction league, my interest to the game has really been increased drastically, and I would love to see the game thrive even more with new interesting and unique mechanics. (Sorry in advance if i'm in the wrong forum category for that)

So this is what i had in mind. I didn't pushed too much the story but this is my fast draft:

My Idea was that we could get a new league in the theme of Vikings and their almighty gods. The general story is that the Valhalla is in peril because of some sort of curse spreading among the majestic hall of Asgard, because of some Gods turning against their own people to take/ have more powers and control more than their place: Wreaclast.

It's going to be all about a portal opening in maps, leading to a dock, in a magical place filled with star dust, where boats navigate by surfing on it. We approach a mysterious sailor who seems to awaits our arrival. He explain that the Valhalla is in peril and that he needs our help to restore the their place by eradicate this curse and find the origin, the source of the curse.

We will be introduced to a new place called " HOLMLEK ", an island of survivors where a camp have been set. We will meet some few Gods deserting Asgard where the curse has spread too much, asking for an extra hand to help reconquer and heal this place to how it was back then.

We will have to reconquer 4 new maps where the curse has spread, kill bosses that will give 1 shard of the Bifrost. At 13 shards, we will be able to use the power of the bifrost to open a way to Asgard. Over there we will face the few rebellious gods and of course "Odin, the Cursed"

To help in our journey, we will be given a special artefact only usable in the Valhalla. This artefact will be able to collect the bifrost shards, and will be able to absorb the power of the boss we kill in the first 4 maps. After killing the first boss, we will be given a special skill we'll choose from many, to upgrade throughout the run each time we vanquish a boss. This special skill will accompany us in our journey to Valhalla, and can be earned as a permanent tradable gem that we can bring back to Wreaclast as a little souvenir.

For example, after the first boss kill in Valhalla, we will have to choose a skill to attach to our artefact between like a Star dust Fireball, or a Timeless Slash attack skill, or a Teleport or a new guard skill, or even a new aura skill. The skill will be very weak at the beginning and will be upgraded after consecutive boss kill, where we will have the choice between mods like increases overall damage by 10%/ 20%/50% or gives 0.5 leech life/es/mana or if you are very lucky, an additional projectile or extra strikes or even extra cooldown use. Everytime you decide to face a boss in the first 4 maps, you'll have the choice to pay all your current bifrost shards to take out the skill gems with you in Wreaclast like it is, or to face the challenge of killing the boss to try and upgrade it, which can be risky. If you die against a regular boss, you'll lose all your shards and the skill attached to our artefact will be gone. But upgrading a skill, will also upgrade all future boss with the same mods. So extra projectiles will make bosses also have this mods with their attacks and skills. So big risk for big rewards.

That is all for me. This is my general idea for a league mechanic, I hope you like it. Please share with me your thoughts and maybe what you have brewed in your mind for a league idea.
