There's silence debuff in PoE?
I never knew silence existed in this game for so many years before now, and the first experience with it was the shittiest possible :D
Running around one hasted crappy magic mob not being able to cast a spell to kill it, on a map with Life as ES modifier, doing 1 hit every 4 or 8 seconds, just made me laugh in pain. A sane person would never add silence in an ARPG for obvious reasons. Last bumped on Dec 24, 2023, 1:53:08 AM

Its a curse. And its possible to become immune to it.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

I thought they removed it from the game, where did you get cursed?
Game has enough mandatory "immune or be totally screwed" checkboxes as it is. |

Silence has been in the game forever. If you're playing a spell build, you need a source of curse removal/immunity, or a corrupted jewel implicit specifically giving you silence immunity.
Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".

" Yeah, I meant in 3.14 times you encountered it much more often than now, it was old Hexfont mod or something. Then they removed silence specifically from the pool of random curses, as it was too OP and annoying. Now I cannot remember when I met silence last time, so was surprised it is still there. |

" There's one Tormented Spirit that still has it. Aside from that I don't even know where it's still present The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
