Reflected Ailments with Reduced Duration of Elemental Ailments

Can someone please help me understand if this is the intended interaction between reflected ailments and reduced duration or if this is unintended?

I have 750 int with Solipsism, which gives me 100% reduced duration of ailments on myself. If I take an eater altar that reflects non-damaging ailments to myself I'm taking full duration freezes/chills/shocks.

This this the intended outcome of these two mechanics together? Based on all of the wording, I would have expected the duration to be reduced to 0 on myself

Considering this bug exists:

"Lethe Shade not increasing the duration of Ailments reflected back to you"

I wouldnt put it out of the realm of possibility that the opposite didnt work since reflected ailment durations have always been kinda wonky.

Maybe someone smarter than me can say why it shouldnt work but to me it should be working perfectly fine.

Unless the eater mod also increases the duration of the ailments or you have a lot of increased ailment duration.

Thats a good thought, I just checked and dont have increased ailment duration anywhere that I can find. I do have 20% skill effect duration.

Skill effect duration shouldnt matter because ailments arent skills.

To me it does sound bugged then. Like I said in the other post it wouldnt surprise me if reflected ailment duration is borked both ways.

AFAIK its because it doesn't modify it twice, the reflected one is the one you apply it doesn't get reduced because it already has been (by the monster potentially) probably to protect the debuff ordering under the hood.

I believe this is consistent with other debuffs you can reflect to yourself from a monster though its been a while since I played a self poison.

There are some pretty dubious bugs kicking about as other posters have mentioned and personally I found reduced duration to be bait as a stat anyway, too many things have increased duration which just renders it irrelevant.
