Arc of Surging shotgunning secondary target

Hello,
Arc of Surging seems to be able to shotgun if only one other enemy is in chaining range of the primary one. If this is the case, all the splits target the same enemy and each deal full damage. The primary target can be an hydrosphere or an enemy. I tested it with self poison and when I hit the enemy directly I only get 1 poison stack but when I hit the hydrosphere and the 4 secondary beams bounces to the enemy I get 4 poison stacks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PwlsQAlF4E Last bumped on Jan 15, 2024, 5:56:17 PM

Could someone please confirm if that is actually a bug or intended behaviour of the new gem?
Im asking, so we know if we should dedicate resources and time on a build around it. |

Yeah, I guess we would need a confirmation from GGG staff; wondering whether I should try to make a build around this interaction as well.

If they haven't changed it yet, they most likely won't change it during the league. But I will not be surprised if that gets a fix for 3.24 patch notes.
