Dual wielding support
Dual wielding lacks support and options in this game and every league its like it has been forgotten by the developers.
There are people that enjoy the play style and it wouldn't hurt to throw us a bone once in a while, here are some suggestions that i believe wont be too time consuming in the development process and would still make a difference. 1- make all strike skills hit with both weapons if you are dual wielding. (specially flicker strike, because having 2h be the best in slot weapon for the fastest skill in the game, is the same as seeing a ninja assassinate someone with a car) 2- remove attack speed penality from skills that are dual wielding. 3- add dual wielding exclusive support gems, stuff like "40% increased damage if you are dual wielding", we have dagger/claw and sword/axes exclusive support gems so there's no reason why we cant have dual wielding ones. 4- revisit passive stats from dual wielding, poe has changed a lot and those stats have stayed mostly the same. The attack speed makes sense but block doesn't, if people are going the dual wield route they are probably not thinking about defense, maybe increase splash damage radius so that players dual wielding can skip melee splash , it would make sense since you are using 2 weapons to have more AOE. All in all the plays style feels like it needs some love. Also you guys may wanna look into "no off" hand as a play style too as that sounds like a very fun gimmick thing for the shadow/witch. Hopefully this doesn't get ignored like all the "improve melee threads" and we can have some new toys for next league. Last bumped on Dec 20, 2023, 10:48:43 AM

Just bring back 20% more damage mult when dual-wielding, make it for attacks only

Offense isn't really an issue with Dual Wield.
It's that they made shields too strong. 100HP, 5% HP on Block, +2 all max saves, +All Spells, 30% Reservation Efficiency, Crit Chance, +Chance to Block and so on. DW only gets Crit/Block and that's with point investment. Weapon affix rolls are pretty set in stone and half of them are redundant for DW. Crit Chance, Atk Speed, +Damage-Damage Range, +%Damage. on top of dps boost which is always nice these days i would like 5% life/es on block mastery while dual wield + more block chance on passives/mastery.
