Raise Spectre idsapeared when I switched wildwood ascendancy

I had 3 spectres summoned, went into new map into wildwood and found the primalst. I switched from the Warden of the magi ascendancy with only 2 big nodes allocated, the Oath of the Magi and Wildwood Blessing, into the Primalist ascendancy and allocated the backpack nodes.
After almost a minute I noticed that my specters weren't around me anymore, couldn't find their corpses either. I was still in the woods so I tried looking around. Nothing killed them I'm pretty sure, I was in a tier 7 map and I had lv 20 gems raise spectre linked with meat shield and minion life.
My spectres were a perfect guardian turtle, a blasphemer and a perfect spirit of fortune.

I just had the same exact experience. I noticed the missing spectres immediately after closing my passives screen. I don't auto-cast anything that would interfere with the corpses, but there were simply no corpses. All of my minions were just deleted by the respec.

With how janky spectres already are on their own, this is an extremely annoying interaction that further makes the skill even more of a pain to deal with. Most people start with the Maji ascendancy and then respec to get charms. There shouldn't be any interaction between the ascendancy change and minions at all. I don't believe either ascendancy tree has any significant nodes related to minions. I can imagine that for SSF players, this would be incredibly infuriating, as some of the corpses are extremely difficult to chase, and even on trade league, their value can be in the order of divines.

As a side node, I was spec'd into Barkskin, and the respec cancelled some of my other auras, as if my maximum mana temporarily changed.

Anyway, this bug definitely still exists.
This also just happened to me. I am lucky that the spectres I was using are not particularly rare, but the corpses also did not drop to the ground like they are supposed to in other cases in which the gem is unsocketed or disabled for some reason.
Same thing happened to me, and I have seen a bunch of other posts saying the same thing. Looks like changing to the primalist turns off your spectre's and your AG. Since I had just spent a most of my remaining currency on getting the spectre's it was really frustrating. Not sure why GGG hasn't weighed in on this.
