Please drop the "sent to the Void" global notifications

Leaving aside the merits or otherwise of the Puzzle Box, please can we drop the global "sent to the Void" message spam? I'd be very grateful. I've no interest in whether someone has decided to void their character in pursuit of a foil Terminus Est or a foil Veil of the Night.

I have no problem at all with league start new zone reached by player X notifications, or the Delve record notifications (still remember RudyToInfinity), or the sale messages. Keep them please. Only issue is the "sent the Void" one.

People that dont play hardcore probably arent used to this, but in hc this is always a thing for high level chars when they die. This is something the hc community likes and youre probably one of few that are complaining about it.

We aren't playing on HC and one of the WORST things in PoE are global announcements that mean nothing and interrupt our own play experience.

I would guess you are in the severe minority that LIKE these things. Even if I were to play HC, why should I care that some nameless person died at lvl 93?

I don't play the first few days of a league because these kinds of announcements are SO obtrusive to my experience that I just don't even want to engage with the entire game because of them.

Just put in some options to let people choose which types of messages they want and which ones they don't want.

I’m not bothered by the global announcements but they should have a toggle on the settings. Some people, like the OP, clearly don’t want to see them so why not.

I've no problem at all with most global notifications, including hardcore deaths. Edited the OP for clarity. I'd just like not to see "sent to the Void".

as a weak ass player, the levels of schadenfreude i get seeing this is off the charts.

keep it in.

but as a supporter of player choice, let players have a choice whether to see the notifications via options menu.
