Cfosspeed legal ?

Is using cfospeed legal in POE ? Cause since Affliction league starts , singapore relm is really annoying to play on . Sometime ping only 4x ms but many time it keeps going to 200x ms and spike to almost over 10000ms like playing on EU and US . Is it bug or something ? . Every other games are normal , so its not my IPs problem

If you have a question about a third-party tool, email Support (support@grindinggear.com) and ask them directly. This way, you'll have an answer from GGG in writing instead of betting your account on forum replies. :)
I would say most likely it isn't allowed going by it's description

And i would also say it isn't likely to fix your connection problems, as this would only work with what is coming out of your PC, if your router is fucked it won't fix it, if any of the hops between you and the server are fucked it won't fix it.

What you should be doing is trying to figure out WHERE the problem is occuring.

For that you run a program called WinMTR while you play and are lagging (for a minimum of 300 seconds)
From there you can post that in tech support.

(other games are fine is not diagnosing your connection...which could be totally fucked)

As GGG recommends trying a VPN in case of lasting network issues (implying they are aware that sometimes routing is problematic) it is worth a shot. Question is if cfospeed provides something that a regular VPN doesn't

Using WinMTR and posting results on tech support forum (together with problem description) does help, I can confirm.
The best thing you can do for performance is uninstall cfosspeed.

Not because GGG is going to care because it doesn't do what you think.

It can not affect traffic outside your machine and it can not reduce the latency to servers. It purely is a function to favour one kind of traffic over another INSIDE your machine. If you have a bottle neck inside your machine you are doing something very stupid. I guess if you run torrents on your machine at the same time you play game you can use this program. It would simpler to just not do stupid stuff and run only the game.
