Eye of Winter of Finality / Eye of Winter Bugged - Shard Explosion does not occur ( video included )

If you use eye of winter of finality with return projectiles support the eye will not release any shards when it dissipates unless it first bounces off terrain.

Gem reads " Fires a single eye projectile which cannot damage enemies. When the eye dissipates OR collides with terrain, it releases a fast spiral of shards. "

I also tested this with regular eye of winter and it seems to be affected aswell.

My build is bricked please fix :( .

I dont think its technicly a bug, but also is. First a projectile that hits Terrain with returning projectiles supporting it, doesnt realy hit terrain. A projectile that hits terrain usualy ends. With returning projectiles, insteat of hitting terrain, it "bounces" of terrain (changes direction 0.1 units before hiting it(i know this is not correct, but this way its easier to explain)). So when you attach returning projectile, it will not release any shards when it hits terrain for the first time, because it never touched it.

But it should still release shards, when it hits tarrain again (becasue it already bounced, cant do that again) or when it dissipaits.(alltho this shards probably deal alot less damage)

So yes, there is probabaly, kinda a bug, but if i would be you, go for a different build, becasue even if the bug part gets fixed, it still will only realaese one final spiral. Nice idea nontheless. You can maybe try it with deadeye wall chaining, but i highly doubthing that it will release another spiral.

I think it is defiantly just a flat out bug because regardless of it hitting the wall or not the main projectile does not release any shards when it dissipates. The only quasi logical explination would be that the main projectile does not "dissipate" if it has any remaining projectile mods ( pierce fork return ect. ) but I tested with pierce and the main projectile will in that case still explode into projectiles.

Also if that is the case ( that it never touches the wall ) it makes even less sense since it actually touching the terrain is the second condition ( along with dissipating ) for it to explode. It is 100% just a flat out bug, there is no possible mistake of game mechanics.
