No charges gain on Dying sun flask in expedition with NO "no flask charges gained"
I was doing an expedition in Canyon. There was a altar that had no flask charges gained but i have screenshoted the list that does not show it. Also, I have a tincture activated with the correct placement and the correct Ascendency that allows charges on hit every second.
I received charges for all my flasks EXCEPT DYING SUN would not gain any flask charges during the expedition. Afterward it is gaining charges as normal. Last bumped on Dec 13, 2023, 7:18:34 PM

You didn't include a screenshot showing your Exarch altar modifiers, viewable by hovering over the Exarch icon above your skill bar.
You likely had the altar downside "Player gains: increased flask charges used/decreased flask duration". Dying Sun already requires the flask to be nearly full to be usable; adding this downside on top can make it so that the flask requires more charges to use than it can hold, making it look like it never fills up. Unfortunately, it's something that's easily overlooked, because modifiers to flask charges used/duration that aren't on the flask itself don't change the flask's tooltip. |

Sorry the images didnt work for some reason. Trying again. I did not have the downside for flasks as seen in the image.

" These are Expedition modifiers, not Exarch modifiers. There is an Exarch icon above the skill bar, behind the list of Expedition modifiers. Hovering that Exarch icon would show the altar modifiers I was talking about. |

" Ohhhh, I see. I dont remember choosing any of the altars. Strange that all my other flasks worked and Dying sun gained 0 charges the entire expedition for 50+ some mobs though. |

" Dying Sun wasn't gaining charges because the flask was full, holding 50 flask charges of its maximum of 50 flask charges. With extra "increased flask charges used", however, the flask required 51 or more flask charges to activate. Since it did not have enough charges to be used, the flask 'looks' empty, despite holding its maximum number of charges. |

Got it. Thank you that was most likely it.
