Splitting Steel of Ammunition last attack does not split
Hi Devs,
So, I noticed with the new Splitting Steel, that the last attack is not splitting, and it's just a single projectile that hits the ground and returns (when using Returning Proj. Sup.) I tested this with 12 or 16 shards and it didn't make a difference, it's always the last attack that does not split. That is that say, that if I have 12 Shards, 5 attacks in my HO will show the projectiles split, travel to max distance, return and explode, but the 6th attack is a single projectile that hits the ground and retuns. With 16 shards, 7 attacks with behave normally and the 8th will be the single projectile. I tested with a friend in my HO and he can see the behavior as well, so I don't think it's a display bug. So, why do I think this is a bug? The skill plainly states: "Consume shards to fire a single projectile that splits on impact or at the targeted location" And the last attack does consume 2 Shards, so why is it not Splitting? First of all, I'm sorry for necroposting here (especially on my first forum post). However, I have run into the same bug, and would like to add a bit of additional information here: -This is replicated 100% of the time with Splitting Steel of Ammunition, even without any support gems, an entire different skill tree, axe+shield, sword+shield, axe+sword, sword+axe. -Lancing Steel and Shattering Steel of Ammunition, the other two Call of Steel skills, appear to have the expected behaviour; they still have the added effect upon consuming the final steel shard charges.
