playing via geforcenow is nearly to impossible

Because the service does not store game cache for you. Any encounter with a new effect = stutter for 30 seconds.
I can't do the league mechanics because upon entry encounter game starts loading cache for 10-30 seconds and then I see a dead character. Can we have some fix for cloudgaming?

I'm playing through GFN too and confirm the issues. Also very often I get GeForceNow error 0x800c0014 when I try to launch the game. Then I jump through some hoops (reinstall GFN, remove/add game back to library, restart PC) and sometimes it helps. Otherwise I just give up and maybe after a few hours I can actually launch PoE. Previous league was much smoother.
Works for me. More of an issue with GFN and outside of GGG's reach
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Long time GFN user here also, I'm sorry you're seeing this issue.

GFN really does cause a lot of unwanted affects beyond GGGs control, but it's not always proven to be something on either end. GFN occasionally has stutters on their services so beware playing HC leagues as with any public service it can be imperfect.

There are other services kindly hosting PoE such as Boosteroid. I use GFN but I have also had a great experience with Boosteroid. I do not have a capable PC and live near the city. I think Boosteroid

Sometimes it really depends on your location since these services are reliant on bandwidth and latency, whereas if you run the client locally it will rely mostly on your ISP's latency to the game server and your personal computer or console.

lag is literally on GFN tho maybe check if you're connected to the right datacenter / how busy it is

Yeah, that's understandable, but isn't it also in GGG's interest to provide all of their users great experience? They could maybe contact GFN and help them resolve issues or maybe tweak the client in a special eay, like caching rules or so.
