Will different Transfigured Gem versions have separate cooldowns?
Hi,
I got the impression this will be the case, because for some gems the different versions have different inherent cooldowns. For build planning it would be nice to know for sure. Any chance to get an answer here or in the FAQ? It would open up lots of cool build options, e.g. I was thinking of a dual Mjölner build that uses all 3 Arc versions (1 each in Mjölner, 1 as CoC). Will this work? Really exciting about some of the new gems! Last bumped on Dec 6, 2023, 9:07:20 PM

" alt/trans gems are practically all the same gem but different variants. once upon a time, there was someone who made an "infinite" flicker build by placing flickerstrike gems into ALL his equipment. so the idea was to spam (destroy his keyboard) and would be able to use a different flicker gem when one was on cooldown. i cant remember if it worked, but i do know that today you cant do that. all flicker cooldowns are shared regardless of it being a separate gem. it works the same for trigger gems too. and thus i believe cooldowns are shared by all variants of a single gem. so yeah no chance unless GGG decides they dont mind players doing silly stuffs.
