Is Mac version even working?
Downloaded, started and it basically doesn't work.
Launcher starts, downloads a few megs and then "Path of Exile quit unexpectedly". This happens every time. MacBook Pro M2, MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 Last bumped on Mar 29, 2024, 12:56:44 PM

Ask Apple to refund any thing related to M1 and M2.....
If you say older Intel-Mac also has problem to run Intel-AMD code based game, then the devs may look at it This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

Same problem here (M1, Sonoma 14.1.2). Looks like a updater issue?

Go to:
open a terminal and enter: rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Path\ of\ Exile/*.dat or (manually): goto "/Users/*USERNAME*/Library/Application Support/Path of Exile" delete update.dat and HashCache.dat launch pathofexile.app FROM the "~/Library/Application\ Support/Path\ of\ Exile/" folder Last edited by koassount#7276 on Sep 22, 2024, 11:47:50 AM

The problem is with the "update.dat" file.
You need to find your Path of Exile folder and delete the "update.dat" file. Restart the game with the "Path of Exile.app" file. Works fine that way. You need to repeat this procedure whenever there is an update. ![]() |

I just opened the mac app and launched the client (instead of the normal app launcher) and it works.
Go to POE App -> right click -> show package contents. Open the contents folder, MacOS folder, then launch "PathOfExileClient". Worked for me. |

deleting "update.dat alone is not enough need to delete whole content.ggpk and now it updating to current leag.
