Split Arrow builds, are there many?

I recently found this:



and since no one wants to buy it, I'm considering making a bow build. Using Lioneye's isn't required, just an available option

However, I've played around with lightning arrow and Rain of Arrows a bit and I wasn't a huge fan of it.


I kind of want to make a split arrow build, as I've seen a few gameplay videos from a month or so back and it seems like a pretty solid skill that I think I would find fun.

However I cannot for the life of me find any builds. I can find tons of LA or RoA builds, but no split arrow ones.



So I'm asking, just as a brief note (not asking for a full guide written out =P) how many different variations there are for Split arrow.

Templar elemental?
ranged physical?
shadow crit?
etc.

How many of these are viable/feasable and can compare at least somewhat to LA/RoA.

Pretty much the same as LA but can swap out any elemental DMg nodes for physical DMg or projectile DMg - speed nodes good to.
On my LA sometimes I swap out LA for split arrow and melts mobs just as fast actually.
Pretty much just use split-faster atx-chain or fork - loh

I use a split arrow build on my ranger and it does okay. However it won't ever be as effective as lightning arrow.

Bullshit! I'd buy that in an instant! I just don't have 5-10 ex in assorted currency plus several hundred fusings sitting around. How much do you want for it?

There is exactly two situations in which Split Arrow is even remotely superior to Lightning Arrow:
1. You don't have the slots to 5L lightning arrow so you need to drop one of the gems
2. Lightning Thorns

...Yeah... It's kinda meh.
