naive minion mastery question

There is a minion offence mastery which grants the following:

- "minions have a 25% chance to gain unholy might for 4 seconds on kill"

I can't seem to see any exact data about this in the wiki and I#m confuseed about the wording.

Does it mean:
1. ALL minions will have a 25% chance to gain unholy might for 4 seconds when ANY minion makes a kill?
2. ONLY that ONE minion which made a kill has a 25% chance to gain unholy might?
3. Do I (the player) have to make a kill (the same way that "on kill" benefits from gear or passives do not normally affect me when minions make a kill, such as "recoup x% of life on kill")?
4. Something else?

if the answer is 2 or 3 then I will not be taking it.
If the answer is 1 then I might take it, but am considering going for "Unnatural Strength" eventually

I assumed it was 2) so haven't tried it out. Same with onslaught and suchlike mods.

its one minion as is the onslaught one, they are basically OK for spectres (but not really)

If you want unholy might on a minion you necro aegis broken faith was always the old way to do it, those minion masteries are just bait I think.

not sure I understand, do you mean then it's option number 2 (only the minion who made the kill gets a chance at UM)?
