Discounts for supporter packs from previous purchases are completely bugged

Hi,

I have spoken to support via email some time ago and I have not been able to get a proper answer regarding this issue.

As a long-time supporter I'd like to expect at least some transparency when it comes to the purchases I make with my money to support your product.

The issue is as follows:
About a month ago I was considering upgrading to the chronomancer pack from my current tier (bloodthirsty). The upgrade price was $55.

During that time I made one or two small purchases of simple point packs. The price of the upgrade went up first to 60, and then 65 bucks.

I have just purchased a 200-point back and the price did not change; the upgrade still shows my old purchases as the basis for the discount towards the next tier (it's still $65 despite purchasing a higher value pack than either listed 50 and 100-pont packs on the website).

So please kindly explain to me, what am I supposed to do to get the actual discount value I originally had prior to paying for small point packs? I would rather not want to contact support again; I'd just like to be able to upgrade whenever I feel like / can do so without involving them.

When upgrading to Supporter Packs in this way, any purchase that would bring the contribution over the 80% upgrade threshold would not be eligible unfortunately. It is also not possible to contribute part of a Point Pack purchase, only the entire Pack is able to be used. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!
Once again this does not explain why the upgrade cost increased from 55 to $65, ie. discount decreased. I understand there is a cap, but the upgrade cost should have remained the same no matter what I have purchased recently.

Chronomancer supporter pack: $240
According to your policy: 80% maximum discount
240*0.8=192
240-192=48

Meaning the upgrade cost cap should be a discount equal to $48.

I have purchased a 200 point pack an hour ago. It is of higher value than two items that are displayed as my discounts on the SHOP page:

Bloodthirsty Supporter Pack ($160)
50 Point Pack ($5)
100 Point Pack ($10)

Yet is has been completely ignored in the calculations, since:

240-160-10-5=65

and that 65 is exactly what is shown as my upgrade cost.

Surely you see the issue here.

If you believe this is being calculated incorrectly by our system, could you please send us an email at support@grindinggear.com with your account name and 2-3 character names so we can take a look into this for you?
