Please more Silver coins...

Been playing this game since 2018, played all seasons since then. This is one of my very first posts. This is my favorite seasons of all time, having so much fun in the trials. And I love it! The devs has done such a great job! I only play in SSF, like the challenge of making the best of what ever drops and can be crafted. Anyways, silver coins... It feels so tedious and boring to farm them from maps. have spend several days, many many hours now just speed spamming tier 1-3 maps in order to collect about 750 coins now. And I don't want to do it again. So when I start the trials again. I know myself, I will not go back to braindead grind to get 1-2 coins per map. Because I want to play for a long time this season. You really got me hooked. Feels like a job, in order for me to have fun in the trials. Please increase the drop rate of coins or in some other way make it possible to acquire more coins. i know the game is not centered around ssf. Considering how outstandingly rewarding Trials are, increasing coin drops would further inflate the game's economy. PoE was designed from the ground up to have trade and player economy in mind. Drop rates are all adjusted with that in mind.
By playing on SSF, you're opting into playing the game on a harder difficulty by handicapping yourself on not being able to trade in a game that's centered around it. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

Increasing the drop rate in SSF would not hinder the economy in any way so whats the problem. In standard you can trade to get more coins and get maximum pleasure out of the game mechanic that uses them but in SSF 1-2 a map makes it tedious after a short amount of time and makes people leave early.
Some of the game mechanics lately have not been that good but this time it seems to work well so why not make everyone happy and tailor it to suit all versions of the game. If you hadnt noticed this thread should be called sarcasm, negative replies are not the thing here. Positivity through negativity is the way to go.

Changing drop rates in SSF and not trade league would be a massive 180 from their design philosophy. I wouldnt expect it to happen.

" Why would that make EVERYONE happy? Sounds like it would mostly make YOU happy. SSF should not have better drops because it's meant to be a challenge mode. I say that as someone actually playing SSF and no I would not be happy if they just jacked up the drop rates in SSF. |

If it's only about the coins, have you tried farming the Ossuary or the Reliquary?
I.e. go to the Ossuary, kill stuff until the coin drops, portal gem back to the docks, repeat. It's not less tedious, but should be a lot faster. :) Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

Also, SSF characters can be migrated. So giving them better drop rates is a non-starter.

I wasn't suggesting specific a higher drop rate for just SSF players. Was more suggesting a higher drop rate in maps in standard and SSF. Maybe guaranteed 2-3 coins. Just so we can do the content more. Or maybe that we can roll and buy more from Tujen. In that case, I'm still forced to do maps and have to spend my farmed currency on the think I want to do more. Or an icon on the map like Metamorph on what mob has the coin. Just frustrating and very boring to clear a map for a single coin. Could be the first mob or the last :/ Thanks, I have tried Ossuary and Reliquary for many hours but still feels the same. And in Reliquary you have the mobs that climbs up from the side when you run past them, and very frustrating when one of them carry's a silver coin and you run past them and to backtrack haha.
