Domain of Timeless Conflict questions

I'm in SSF again this league. Farmed up a bunch of emblems and going after the 200 generals challenge. But I don't do Timeless Conflict a ton and had some questions. Note that I am primarily interested in timeless jewels and loot. I do not care about the XP at all.

1) Is the best strategy to focus on as many generals as possible (I'm aware of the reset timer on each general before they can respawn again) or to kill as much on the screen as possible?

2) Is it better to do as 4-way? 5-way? Some other configuration?

3) Is the timer for the entire fight different with different numbers/types of emblems? I.e. do I get more total time with 5 emblems vs. fewer emblems?

4) Does killing a certain general more influence the timeless jewels that may drop? Or is that just based on the emblems I put in? I want Brutal Restraints but Aukuna takes the longest to kill since she has 2 phases.

Dont have proper answers but anecdotal evidence:

5 Timeless jewels in 131 general kills. Mostly 3-ways. Focused on killing the correct general/s. Bow build with not so good single target so everything else (pretty much) was killed also though. 2-3 of the jewels were wanted ones, the others not.
Weird is that I got 2 jewels out of one set twice, no idea if this was just RNG.

Thanks. I did end up running my emblems as 4-ways. Got ~20 timeless jewels in the 200 general kills. Would still be interested in the answers if anyone else happens to know.
