Common Uniques and Orbs of Chance

With the latest change I am really interested in what the common uniques are. I've a few chance orbs (60+) which I was saving up until I could be bothered to try and roll for an Andvarius. Now that doesn't look likely. I'm not a "rich" player and haven't got too much currency so I'm wondering what is worth bothering using the orbs on.

What I'd really like is a list of the common uniques so that I can pick and choose an item type to try and roll for a particular unique.

If that's really not sensible what should I do with my chance orbs?

I highly doubt they will release a list of what the defined 'common' uniques are

random number generator ftw ...
If GGG gave a response with a list I'd be delighted.... but I wasn't expecting that.

I'm really after the opinions of the users of this forum.
common uniques are probably those that are currently worth less than 1 gcp, it wouldn't make sense to have an item worth 1exalt+ a common unique

"common uniques" are the ones that can roll multiple uniques. for example an onyx amulet can roll carnage heart or eye of chayula and that is considered a common unique. you're welcome
It's already known that uniques have different "chances to roll" if they share the same base item.

Onyx amulet has 2 uniques: Carnage Heart and Eye of Chayula.
If the item gets the unique roll, it then rolls again to determine which of the 2 amulets is actually created. These chances are NOT 50/50.

Those values are the ones they adjusted. For example; if it was 50/50 before, it now could be changed to 80/20, making carnage heart a "common" easy to get amulet and eye of chayula a "rare unique".

They probably did this to stop the influx of the uber gear uniques people are rolling with chance orbs. This makes the process of making one more expensive and drives the price up creating literal item rarity.

This would not have the effect that Chris is after (I think) as most of the really good and rare uniques are unique to that base Item.

The example I used at the beginning, Andvarius, is the only unique gold ring. If this change has not done anything to the chances for Andvarius then I might as well carry on rolling for it.

I think it is more likely that each base item (that has one or more uniques) has separate chance to roll a unique (onyx amulets might have a better chance than gold rings for instance) then after it has determined that the item is unique it will roll to see which unique is generated. This is functionally the same as having a specific chance to roll each unique.

A .1% chance to roll a unique with 80/20 split for two different uniques is the same as a .02% chance to roll one and .08% chance to roll the other.

What I am really after is working out the best chance for a return on my orbs of chance.

oh well... for my purposes I should probably turn groups of 8 orbs of chance into Alchemy orbs
Common - everyone is selling these (facebreaker is an example)
Uncommon - some people are selling these (darkscorn I think is an example)
Rare - kaom's, dream fragmnets, astramentis, andvarius

according to kripp dream fragments is a common unique because it has a very low level requirement and can be found pretty early. The fact that a lot of CI builds want it doesnt make it rare.
