Breach Atlas Multipliers working?
Hello,
yesterday I thought I redo my tree to have a bit of different thing to do and opted into breaches. Before doing that a breach roughly gave me 6-9 splinters, bosses 5 splinters. Now with all Breach nodes I get 5-9 splinters and bosses give me 5 splinters. The tree tells me I would get 28% more from monsters (bosses are monsters too?) so should I be at around 7.68 to 11.52 and around 6.4 Splinters a boss? But even then, this doesn't even take in that I have 3 additional rare mobs, 50% increased magic monsters and a 33% higher monster density. This should give me at least 40ish percent more splinters too, no? Why am I getting the same results out of a fully specced breach tree as without? Am I missing something? I didn't really keep track of my results but I thought I'd go after breach uniques in SSF with breach being on the device. Breach feels just awful now. Maybe it's a trade league juicing mechanic now where you need Sextants and Scarabs to make it work.
I ran high corrupted quant maps as well as some unid ones which give extra quant with chisels, some scarabs (limited with SSF). Even after a week of farming only had like 6 Xophs, 5 Eshs, 0 Tuls (Kept converting to others) 5 Uul Notel and whopping 20 chayula splinters LOL. I did manage to snag Uul Notels Axe which I've wanted to try out but was hoping to farm up Xophs Amulet and Helmet, Eshs amulet for lightning builds. But they mostly dropped nothing upon finishing the run. I never been big on breach since but it seems much harder to get breachstones and get items from the breachlords in general. Not a great SSF mechanic imo. |

sadly breach only seems worth it with breach scarabs (gilded and winged)
you get way more splinters from the hands than from bosses or rare monsters in breach |

Out of curiosity, how many maps with the nodes did you try? I ask because for the longest time, I think there's a weird "lag" bug with atlas passives.
Here's an example: This league went to full spec Delirium to go after the challenges. Specced everything on the tree so there should be a crap ton of chance to get the mirror. Went SIX straight maps, no mirror whatsoever. Then the mirror showed up on map 7. Once it did, I could not go 2-3 maps without seeing a mirror for several dozen maps in a row (and it was very often every map). I've also had this happen in the past with things like Sacred Groves, Jun mission chance, Trials of Ascendancy, etc. It almost feels like whenever we change something, the game needs to "empty the queue" before the changes take effect.
