Lethal Pride 5% Endurance Charge on Kill chance not proccing?

Picked up a Lethal Pride jewel for a little defensive boost on a Hexblast Mine Saobteur, with 2 phys-as-fire nodes and 2 5% chance for endurance charge on kill nodes. Thought it'd be neat.

However, across multiple maps, I haven't seen a single endurance charge pop up on my buff bar or in my character stats.
Either I'm the most unlucky person in the world, or something's off.

So far as I can tell, the only thing on my character that consumes endurance charges would be Immortal Call, but it's not like it ever gets a chance to consume them. (Also I shatter like every mob I see, but that shouldn't conflict with this on-kill effect, should it?)

D'oh, realized that after I posted, was gonna delete lol

Next nerf for bow characters. Its the bow that kills the enemies not the character. Let us go see if Baldur's gate is doing that.
