I dont really see a point for it, but maybe you surprise us and the gem actually stands for "decreased burn duration but same damage" in which case the DPS would increase while the overall damage still is the same. I hope that I am wrong, because if the gem does what I expect it to do I start asking myself if you even understand why fire is inferior to cold and lightning right now.


Psshhh, the reason fire is the worst is because it doesn't trigger IQ/IR of course ;-)

Rare? God no, there aren't enough mods and they're all way too strong. Unique we will see soon(ish). I feel like I remember a GGG member saying there was at least one in the pipeline

A good patch...unlike a few previous ones. Right direction this time!
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.
I dont agree that -reqs and +light mods will turn out useless. -Reqs will be good for off-color builds and great in races. +Light will at least be useful to low life builds or to counter -light on items.

Unlike thorns mods, which are completely useless and bugged to boot. Why are they still in the game? No one wants worse-than-nothing affixes on their items. Thorns should be removed until its both useful and non-bugged.

I like the way this game is being made, quality of the game experience being considered important and what not.
Found out about POE from people complaining about D3 and how it's made to run that auctionhouse of theirs, they where right about POE being a much better alternative.

Blizzard should be ashamed.

so many nice changes, especially for the key binding.
but i'm negative about this one.
Gems on the ground now do not show their level in their name if they are level one.

Given there are so many things dropped in later game and party. it's better to have longer string for useful drops. Atm, gems are useful to me, i don't know if other pps are tired of picking up gems.

do you see anything in there that boosts melee ?

Why would you nerf LS + multistrike...
It was FINALLY a good buff to melee and now your killing it?
LS with multistrike finally made it viable for later levels, and on par with some of the other ridiculous cookie cutter builds.

This is a very stupid decision.
You guys at GGG just did your first step down hill.
