Since PoE2 is it’s own game…are we not going to see end game expansions?

They said they didn’t want to do any end game expansions until PoE2 however, it being a standalone game and it being 18+ months out will their stance change?

I’d actually be really interested in figuring that out because playing the same end game content for the next 2 years doesn’t sound super appealing.
