Question about 3.22 update

I know the actual ancestor stuff is league only, the whole totems/teams thing, but will the rest be for standard as well? The mentioned support gems, atlas changes, etc? I just got back to the game a couple weeks ago and I'm not keen on restarting so soon. If I don't care about the new league will I miss anything if I just keep playing the same character I'm playing right now?

Atlas changes and new skill/support gems are always 'global', and will affect all leagues except Ruthless.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
