Is poe2 coop friendly now?

Is poe2 coop friendly now or u and ur friend have to rush to the item and play who faster get the item again?

poe is already co-op friendly. There are options in the party screen to make loot drops either open (like it seems you have them), closed, so when an item drops its permanently tied to a single player, or timed, where it will drop for a player, but if they dont pick it up, after some time it becomes available for everyone.

I have not played the beta, but i see no reason for the same thing to not be in poe2.
