Filled Resonators shift click

Hi

I am doing fossil crafting with 1 socket resonators.

Filling a stash tab with resonators and filling them with fossils.

When I start crafting I am unable to understand, why i sometimes can hold down shift and right click, such that I can use all resonators in the stash tab with left click in sequence. This works sometimes and sometimes is does not.

I tried first holding down shift and the right click, and also the opposite first right click and then shift.

But I have not come closer.

How do you do it? What is the key combination required?

When holding a stack of anything on your mouse, holding shift and left-clicking will place 1 item from the stack down.

When you right-click to use a filled resonator, you can hold shift to use up identical filled resonators from that inventory, same as with normal currency items. THe big difference (and probably what your issue is) is this: if there are unfilled resonators anywhere in that inventory (i.e. your inventory or 1 stash tab), the usage will fail. So keep your unfilled resonators in your fossil tab or something and you will be fine.
