Random Delve boss

I was delving in a monster level 83 floor, and at the end of the zone there was a boss/unique monster that kept one-shotting me, through almost 8000 HP+ES. There were some normal enemies first, but pretty soon there was just this big gorilla-looking fella that kept slamming the ground. Very fast, very aggressive. I was pretty much defenseless once I ran out of mana+ES due to MoM and couldn't recharge, so couldn't even flame dash away. I didn't quite catch the name, but it is someone I haven't faced there before. Is it an actual boss, that can randomly spawn? How to beat this bugger?

if a bunch of lava was around then it was probably Gehennix like you said.

Yes, I think it looked roughly like that. It was a fossil node, and I usually try to go for those.

Gehennix is not some random boss. In fact all node has fixed boss.
