Witch/ranger build recommendation

Any suggestion on ranger or witch budget build few div that is a bit tanky, descend dps able to do rare t16 ? Im currently using budgets tornado shot on t16 but occasionally get 1 shot(not sure what kill me it's not reflect) which sucks losing 10%xp
Current build have 75res 35 res chaos 3.9k hp.

3.9k hp isn't enough for t16 and you will get oneshot bcs of that unless you have some serious defensive layers.
edit: or unless you kill everything in 1hit. but even then you might hit a ground hazard and die to that.

It's not a ranger, but maybe would be up your alley anyway. I'm currently playing a Champion Lightning Arrow build. Was so fed up of dying earlier (one-shot galore!), so when I was dumb enough to come back to the game (extreme boredom can do that to a man), I tried to make something really durable. Was amazed when suddenly discovering I hadn't died yet around the time of Act 10 Kitava. Still haven't died, but obviously had some close calls since.

I see it's pretty similar to the build posted by some streamer, except I wanted to pick up some more life and regen. It feels very strong though (Fortification), so although I'm far from T16 maps, I hope he will be able to survive that once I get there, provided I find some better gear.

From what I gather, Deadeyes have more DPS, but is more of a glass cannon.

Yea i notice hp is an issue but because I'm using a lot unique it's hard to add HP
All the rare are allocated for defense. So not quite sure best way to add more HP without rearranging gears. Can u add HP mod to unique items?

I don't believe it's possible to modify uniques without corrupting them.

Did you originally follow a build guide? I'm trying to understand the usage of so many Abyss uniques in your gear, specifically the chest piece, and your gem choices/links (i.e. cold damage support linked with artillery ballista). Is this somehow proccing brittle?

If you're into the ballista lifestyle there's a ton of build videos out there for 3.21 that you can use with Witch (EA Elementalist) or Ranger (Artillery Deadeye). If you like minion builds I'd recommend poison SRS as a cheap league start - it only requires two uniques and is a great all-around build. Otherwise, there's no shortage of Deadeye builds which use lightning/tornado/etc. They may just be much more expensive to gear out comfortably.
