Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error!

any time I try to start the game I get this error.
I scoured the internet for a fix and couldnt fine one. Finally I reset my PC
and was able to get POE working again. one week later (today) it started happening again.

anyone able to find a fix?
this has never happened to me, been playing since the game launched.

Check that you don't have any pending Windows updates, and also do a manual check for them.

uninstalled - going to switching to the steam client and see how that works

You have a pending "optional" Windows Update in queue. (it's not optional, it's mandatory that you install ALL updates.)

unfortunately it still doesn't work.
all optional updates have been downloaded, drivers updates and GFX card updates :/

It won't work, I play on Steam and I'm currently having the same problem, I tried repacking all the Visual C++ files, including the old ones, it worked for 2 days but now I'm getting the same error again. I'll try and do it again and tell news about it. Stay sane Exile!

EDIT: I did the process and it work, you just need to find a Visual C++ Runtime Package to re-install in your PC.
