Modifiers With Names In Gold Colour Text
What are they?
Items with a white icon of some sort at the start of their nameplate seem to have one modifier shown in gold text rather than the usual blue; I can't fathom what the icon in the nameplate is supposed to indicate! Apart from the colour of the modifier's on the item tooltip text being different I can't see any appreciable difference between a mod in gold and the same one on another item in blue. Cheers. Those are Fractured modifiers. The Fractured modifier cannot be changed. It will remain even if you use Chaos Orbs, Scouring Orbs, other methods of reforging rares, etc. Items with a Fractured modifier cannot have other influence types, but can have Eater/Exarch implicits. They also cannot be split. |

Ah, right, I've heard the term 'fractured' in VODs such as when the streamer is looking up items in trade but hadn't bothere'd researching them as I'm not experienced enough to craft like that yet.
Now you've told me that they're not affected by attempts to change the item's mods I think I now understand why they can be sought after. I now can understand what the nameplate icon is trying to convey. Thanks for explaining it to me. Last edited by TheRealKraggy#0533 on Apr 27, 2023, 4:25:42 AM
