Linux/Steam Proton / 3.21.0c Hotfix 4

Heya,
had pretty nice performance on league start (at least solo -> old pc)
Since 3.21.0c Hotfix 4 my game is borked.
I can choose my character, but cannot get into the game. - it crashes on Vulkan and hangs indefinitely on DX.
Anybody experiencing the same? Is anybody using any particular glorious eggroll fixes or Proton versions?

Hope this resolves soon. Have quiet some fun with SRS and the new weapon passive. :)

I'm also having the same problem.

After updating, I was unable to make it past character select (it would either hang or crash in the load screen). I also just tried reinstalling from scratch, and although I can now make it past the character select load screen, doing just about anything (using waypoints, entering a map, etc) crashes the client.

This is on an ubuntu 22.04 machine, running with proton experimental, and vulkan renderer. Things have been running smoothly in Crucible until this most recent update.

I had to go back to proton 7. Filters are broken, but otherwise I'm okay.

Had the same issue, changing Proton to 7.0-6 works fine also with filters for me.

For those not familiar, here is the How to:
Right click the game in steam -> Properties -> Compatibility -> [x] Force the use of a specific ... -> Proton 7.0-6

Could we kindly receive a fix for this asap? It's nice to get it running under Proton 7.0.6 but the game is literally unplayable from a certain point without a loot filter. Much appreciated.

EDIT:
For clarification since I misunderstood other people's posts. The game does work under Proton 7.0.6 and your filters won't work out of the box. This is due changing to Proton 7.0.6 seemingly resetting/deletings configs such as filters. Lesson learned backup your filters.

+1 same issue. ty proton 7 works for me. Filters work if syncd from neversink.

+1 This was affecting me as well.

Game would just dump with no error when loading areas or even loading the character, wasn't able to successfully enter a map from hideout.

Switching to Proton 7 fixed it for me.

Only started doing this today 4/21.

I'm also crashing/hanging while trying to load new zones. Switching to Proton 7 as others suggested seems to fix the issue.
