Let us hide other players MTX or character models
Every time I step into Rogue Harbour my frames drop to <30 and I start getting all kinds of graphical glitching and flashing.
I know people will claim "but seeing other peoples MTX influences you into buying them yourself". Maybe for some people, but seeing all their garbage covering my screen killing my performance is a huge deterrent to ever buying anything. Maybe for once we could give people a QoL feature without having petty greed or BS design philosophy get in the way. At the very least GGG should replace the loading screen in towns with an epilepsy trigger warning. Last bumped on Apr 19, 2023, 11:26:58 AM

or at least have the D3 system that suppresses the effects and minions of allies, I love playing this game with friends but the current power creep in the game makes everything too visually polluted

I agree that when using very high visual pollution builds a "Low FX" mode would be a great solution to this as it could cut the particles in half while still showing enough colour to understand what is going on. (Not to mention while being in a hideout, or going to heist rouge harbour.)
Since I'm still a casual POE player I will use a D3 example because in that game I used a very high visual pollution build, tal rasha rain meteor. With this build all you could see on screen was meteor strikes and literally couldn't see the ground, after toggling LOW FX mode in settings, I could now see 75% more of the ground while still seeing a smaller projectile hitting the ground. I know alot of the telegraphing and AOE need to display particles and colours, but I think enabling a low fx mode would be a great Quality of life! Thanks! Keep up great work GGG |
