Tainted Pact and Self Poison Bug

Tainted pact is bugged with self poison builds, I keep randomly dying because of the poison dot, see video.

I've read in another thread that this is mainly because the leech duration is shorter than your poison duration which isn't the case for me. Here's my setup:

1. I'm using immortal ambition (from mahuxotl's machination) for overleech
2. I'm using a flask with "damage taken from hits is leeched as life"
3. I have golden rule for self poison, didn't show it in the video
3. Main skill for testing is Forbidden rite with cast while channeling and linked to cyclone
4. You can see from the video that I tested the leech I'm getting from the flask
Forbidden rite combo using the DOT from righteous fire. I get consistent 3-4 seconds leech and RF DOT is instead healing me.
5. Using FR + CWC + Cyclone and overleech, I know that my leech should be constantly up.


When I try to hit mobs with this setup and gain poison stacks on myself, there are instances when my life suddenly dips or I die when I have a lot of poison stacks. I've tested this many times and all of it ends up with me un-aliving myself.

I think it's because immortal ambition makes you leech energy shield at full life. While these are still life leech instances, you are technically not leeching life.

I'm not sure if it really works like that, but this would mean that the poison ticks you down the moment you're on full life and you kill yourself before the next poison tick heals you back up.

Just a guess though. Reserving at least 1 life should fix it with your setup if I'm right, but you would not be able to benefit from Eternal Blessing.
