Infinite Abyss bug

I have no idea how it happened, but after spawning a stygian spire that i destroyed the abyss kept spawning monsters. I don't think they dropped loot and they didn't give any experience, it also only spawned normal monsters. This was in a T13 Waste Pool map and it didn't seem to end no matter how many monsters i killed.

Same thing happened to me, i was running my map with Abyss focussed Atlas, Gilded Abyss Scarabs and Abyss on Map Device.

My Abyss spawned 3 Pits and Monsters kept spawning, i didnt receive any EXP or Loot. The Abyss has been spawning Monsters for 10+ Minutes. (i was hoping it would fix itself, but it didnt)

Seems like this is still happening. Had the same behavior with abyss on T9 Racecourse map.
Monsters keep spawning without giving loot or exp and the abyss mound just stays in one place. The loot chest never appears. In my case the abyss progressed normally until the final stage (I assume, since there was a boss i fought).

Not sure if that's a requirement for this bug to happen, but the abyss basically "ran against a wall" and seemed like it got stuck there.

happened up in a t11 cemetry as of september 10th 2023,
abyss spawn two or thre nodes, then a stygian spire, destroyed spire (loot ok), then some basic abyss mobs continued spawning indefinetly, (no xp, no loots from these 'infinite mobs)

to be more specific:
basic abyss mob spawn up to 7, stop spawning, respawn up to 7 if killed.

Happened today in T14(Reef). Got loot from the spire, but the mobs kept on spawning. Teleporting to hideout and going back, going to boss fight and going back didn't help.

Chalk me up as also encountering this bug. T 12 Atoll, nothing special in my Atlas or any other modifiers apart from the Abyss Scarab.

As others have reported, no experience or loot from monsters, only normal mobs and it never ends no matter what I do.

Wouldn't mind so much if it kept giving experience, I'd farm that thing for days ;)

I've had this happen twice. Seems to only occur when the abyss spire is killed prematurely while creating pools.
