[SOLVED] Mouse wheel doesnt work

After I bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse I have a funny problem. My mouse wheel doesnt work under PoE (it works well anywhere else). It is not a BIG problem, I need to use a scrollbar on passive skill tree screen and cant scroll chat window, but on my old mouse everything works well.

I'm at work right now so I can't type exacly what is this stuff symbol, but its manufactured by Microsoft. I didn't install any extra soft for this - just plug the transmitter into usb port and wait until it download the right drivers. After it keyboard and mouse just start working without any problem. Im using windows 7

3 thoughts to try....

1) Make sure to turn the Feature on...if already on, turn off, save, then turn on, save, relog.
2) Delete the Config file for the game ""My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile""
3) actually install the drivers under Windows 7

Mouse and keyboard are manufactured by microsoft. Drivers were downloaded from Windows Update. Any special button on keyboard works good (calculator, volume control, play/pause button etc). I have no idea where can I download other drivers

I noticed one additional thing. If I scroll with mousewheel long enough (like 5-10 seconds) on passive skill tree screen sometimes it'll zoom one step. So if I'll be using mousewheel for about 1 minute I can zoom out max. It is weird and take place only under PoE

When it installed the drivers for the mouse did it actually find the EXACT mouse you have? Cause when you install the drivers, it should specifically ask you which one your using.

Microsoft makes like 30 different mice with more than half having a wheel...some are Laser, some are DIODE, some are 2 button, some are 3 button, some are 5 button.

I never trust AUTOMATIC download and install of drivers.

I found this http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/wireless-keyboard-800#support

After i choose "windows 7 64 bit" I downloaded IntelliType 8.2 64-bit for Windows 7. It gives me few options to customize my keyboard but mouse wheel in PoE still work as I describe above.

I tried turn on and off and on again a "mouse wheel zoom" option but as I understand it only give an option to zoom wiev with mouse wheel instead of page up/down. Mouse wheel should work on passive skill screen regardless of this option

Can you tell us the specific mouse?
They said I was mad! They said it couldn't be done! But now who's mad?!?!
solved. I buy it in a combo: keyboard and mouse and though that one driver is for both of them. No it is not.

I download and install this: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/pl-pl/p/wireless-mouse-1000/2TF-00004 and now scroll works well in PoE

Thanx for help
