Elemental Mitigation Ideas With Replica Loreweave?

I'm currently using a 4L rep Loreweave and debating if I want to 6L it eventually or just go for a slammed influence chest, or gamble with Eldritch implicits.

Replica Loreweave has a bunch of chunky stats I like but not sure if the 72% ele resist mod is worth it. My understanding is that you cannot change your max resist cap with this chest, right? Or can you still take +1 all resist on tree etc...or use aura like Purity of Fire/Ice/Lightning?

Only 2 items I can think of atm are Melding of the Flesh (if you can even raise resists past 72% with the chest) or that timeless jewel where your armor gets converted to ele reduction. IIRC that jewel was nerfed hard too recently?

I feel like it's a lot of work to use rep Loreweave not sure if even worth it.

Your max resists are stuck at 72% no matter what. Even with map mods that lower it too.

You could pair it with the amulet that reduces elemental damage based on chaos resist but most people ive seen do that combo do it with regular loreweave for the 78% max res.


Wait im sorry. That amulet was exclusive to last league and now its gone unless you are in standard.

Damn, so cant be change at all with Purity auras or tree passives?

What about the keystone then, that turns armor into ele mitigation? You're supposed to get -15% max resist too, so would that actually be great to use, if my resists stay at 72% instead of going to -60%/-57% with the keystone? Or do you think the whole keystone would just not function at all?
