chance to block spell damage & no chance to block

So I got a crucible tree unlocked with the following modifiers on the same node:
"20% chance to block spell damage" + "no chance to block". What I'm wondering now is. Does the negative modifier actually negate the positive? Or does "no chance to block" not count for spell damage? Last bumped on Apr 13, 2023, 7:56:36 PM

Either it affect only the shield stats only (Or weapon with block) or it make your entire block chance from attack 0%

"No Chance to Block" is a local modifier on the shield item that affects the innate "Chance to Block" property of that shield. It doesn't apply globally to the character.
The same modifier is available on the Kongming's Strategem unique. |
