Bladefall builds without Blade Blast?

When Bladefall was originally released, it had some power enough to be played as a single playable spell. It seems over the years that spell has become usable again because of the Linguering Blades mechanic.

But is there a ANY way to play this spell without the use of Blade Blast and the linguering blades mechanic? Any way?

I still have a poison bladefall trapper. Haven't played him for a while, but he should still sort of work. No blade blast used.

Trapper, ok... so the overlapping Bladefall would put multiple poisons. I see hmm.

Thanks for the idea. I'd like way more ideas IF its even possible lol.

Now you've got me thinking of starting a fresh self-cast bladefall character. Might even try a couple, one witch one shadow. I always did like bladefall.

I tried self-cast Poison Assassin Bladefall and it failed miserably a couple of months ago! Tell me if ever you think of something.
