Damage numbers & Dummies in PoE.

Hello, would you ever consider adding optional floating damage numbers.
They're not lowering performance whatsoever and it's a great addition as most of ARPGs have them, not only it's a great tool to see exactly how much damage you're dealing, it's a great way to tell if upgrades you made are good or bad (especially for newer players)
The lack of it doesn't add any oldschoolness to it, in fact, most of oldschool games had them.
Also with the current screen bloat you can't see sh/t anyway, adding a text that says "chilled, frozen, stunned, bleeding etc" at least for your character would be lifesaving in most of situations, it's really unintuitive to look at the top of your screen while most of your attention is on the middle of your screen & your healthbar.

At least add a target dummy for hideout that would show exact DPS+Total damage dealt. I see these as great update in QoL for every player, I can't name a single con that wouldn't improve the gameplay with addition of these (as optional feature that you can turn on/off)

Going by other games that have floating numbers, adding other stuff to be displayed on the screen CAN lower performance and i would say especially because of HOW poe works (most other arpg's do NOT have the density or the sheer amount of attacks per second that can cover the whole screen.)

Which rolls into how great a tool it may/probably won't be, you can see exactly shit when you have 50+ monsters on screen as it is any way, dumping a shit ton of numbers ontop of that multiple times per second....not sure what indications you'll be hoping to see but you won't see them.

Damage numbers on the screen - no no and no again.

Hideout dummy to test on - yes.

Damage numbers, no, no, no and no.
Dummy, not a fan.
But, if they want to put in the game a "push-over" boss that has a ton of HP, barely moves around and easily avoidable attacks, something meant to time yourself against, sure.

damage numbers - no maybe an option
test dummy - no

here's one reason why a test dummy is a bad idea

u go into a map after doing your dps check, it's improved so your expectations have been raised
this can only lead to only negative outcomes - neutral at best

Worst case sceenario: I'm not as strong as I should be - "this is bullshit"

if you go into a map somewhat unsure how much you gear has improved
you can only obtain positive outcomes - neutral at worst

Worst case sceenario: I'm not as strong as I thought - "oh well"
