Rant Discussion Steam Badges outdated

Was wondering why the Steam Badges for Path of Exile are so outdated.
I got my badge level 5 and its an Eternal Orb not to mention the order goes from chaos->divine->exalt Is it possible to be updated i wanna flex my Steam profile with cool PoE badge. Eternal Orb is not even related to PoE anymore new players wont even understand what that is. Last bumped on Mar 9, 2023, 5:47:31 PM

I assume it's a case of one person on the team (who may / may not still be around) initially doing the work and then forgetting about them. It's not something they'd look into regularly, and tbh I'm not sure all that many care. Maybe a CM will see your thread and add it to a to do list.

Once they're released, they CANNOT be updated. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Changes cannot be made to things like Steam trading cards or badges from them once they are approved and published. The only exception to this that I'm aware of is if there are mistakes/errors in the published items (as that's not only a failure on the part of the gamedev, but also Valve's approval process).
Basically, GGG couldn't simply "refresh" their existing badges and change them to something new even if they wanted to. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

How's it outdated though? last time i've checked the drop rate stayed the same did it not?
all that is changed is what people think or believe it is worth? i still rather find an exalted boi in ssf than a divine orb any day though. "Now all that's left is for you getting on your knees."
