Currency Conversion Heist Trinkets and Heist Chests

Do the currency converting heist trinkets work on heist chests or do they only work on mob drops within the heists? Talking about "% chance in heist for currency X to drop as currency Y instead".

I ran a regal to divine last league and thought that it was converting on all sources, but I have been recently been told that it only affects mob drops. With this conflicting with my experience I'm looking for more sources.

Looking for any sorta data for either side here I think.

Since duplicate from trinkets clearly works on heist reward chests, conversion should work too. Reward chests are primary objective for heist, so even GGG designers wouldn't have done something like trinkets affecting only crappy mob drops there.
