[3.23] CoC Eye of Winter Build | Assassin | Affliction | Path of Exile 3.23

Hey guys, cast on crit eye of winter assassin build is here. Eye of winter is a cold spell that fires a projectile that constantly releases shard projectiles in a spiral. The shards will damage enemies they impact, dealing cold damage. You can also play ice nova or ice spear pretty much with same setup.

Build Cost
- Medium Budget: 20-50 div


Before asking a question please read.

Mana: How do I sustain mana?
- Non-Channelling Skills have # to Total Mana Cost mod on rings
- Divergent Inspiration
- Mana leech from Clever Thief
- 1% increased Mana Cost of Skills per 10 Devotion mod on Militant Faith

Critical Strike Chance: Aim for %100 crit chance.
- Power charges
- Diamond Flask
- Inspiration charges
- Precision
- Ascendancy, Skill tree
- Cospri's Malice
- Brittle Ground

Cooldown recovery: We need at least %14 for this build. I got it from awakened gem.
- Awakened Cast on Critical (minimum lvl 3)
- Shaper/Crusader belt
- Shaper/Crusader boots

Accuracy: We need %100 hit chance.
- Lvl 21 Precision
- Flat accuracy on one ring and inc global accuracy mod on a jewel.
- Blind (Disorienting Display)

Aps: With 14% cooldown recovery optimal aps for cyclone is 7.57. Don't go over it.

Projectile Speed: Do not get any increased projectile speed.

Militant Faith: Dominus to get Inner Conviction keystone. Try to get one with these mods:
- 4% increased Elemental Damage per 10 Devotion
- 1% reduced Mana Cost of Skills per 10 Devotion
(Check the jewel on pob before you buy it.)

Life Reserve: You need "2% increased Reservation Efficiency of Skills" mod on one jewel to be able to usee all auras on Prism Guardian.

Bandits: Kill All


3.21 CHANGES:
- Arcane Surge Support no longer causes Arcane Surge to grant more Spell Damage. Instead, it now causes Arcane Surge to grant 10% increased Cast Speed
- Onslaught Support has been removed. A new Momentum Support gem has been added in its place.

3.23 CHANGES:
- Gem quality changes.
- Lab enchants are gone.

Hello, Thanks for the build interested in trying it this league.

I am curious, are there any other attack skills this can be done with instead of cyclone?

Is assassin still just better than sabo for CoC builds?

i've been on coc eye of winter for a few leagues now. great stuff. i strongly prefer a glancing blows aegis or shaper es on block shield build over prism, but the raw damage from prism is noice. i did find it necessary to use an Enduring Mana flask for sustaining on specifically Simulacrum ~25-30 even with two Elreon rings and Clever Thief (playing the 10.09 APS 52% CDR variant)

Hi i love your build but i need to know; on the skill tree inner conviction (3% spell damage per power charge) as been replace by the antagonist (maximum energy shield is 0) did we take that or not?

what should we do about the disciple skill being removed from the "Energy Shield Mastery" skill cluster in 3.21 ?
