Punishment applied debilitate despite 100% reduced curse effect
Hi there GGG. I planned out and rolled a new build today, self cast FR. I am using self curse to boost damage through self-flagellation and to negate this i have 2 jewels with both corrupted implicit and explicit rolls for 'reduced effect of curses on you' 1 jewel with 24/30 for 54% total, other jewel with 22/27 for 49%. these together give me 103% reduced effect of curses on me.
HOWEVER, i have noticed that while frostbite/conductivity/flammability/despair correctly do not affect my resistances, and temp chains doesn't affect my action speed, PUNISHMENT DOES. i am getting tagged with debilitate every time i hit an enemy and is the worst lol. that movement speed reduction is the pits. as I read the description of punishment, the debilitate is clearly an effect of the curse, and I think this is unintended behavior for the curse to having an effect despite my curse effect reduction being overcap. character name is Millamberr, softcore sanctum, profile is open. Please get rid of this debilitate! it must have some effect that is not being covered by reduced effect of curse on you ------------------>> IGN: Puerrto <<------------------ Last bumped on Dec 30, 2022, 2:01:31 AM

Could you try using a flask with reduced effect of curses during flask effect to see if you still get debilitated during that time?
It looks like you have 8% increased effect of curses and 103% reduced effect of curses on you, and I think those stack to mean 5% effect of curses on you (4% after Hex Master). The debilitate line might be a boolean thing that doesn't turn off until 0% curse effect. |

i'll roll a flask and try now. god i thought they were independent stats! i bet you're freakin right
*Edit - yep, you're right, i use the flask and it disappears. i guess i'm going to have to find some better rolled jewels >.< ------------------>> IGN: Puerrto <<------------------ Last edited by millamber#2795 on Dec 30, 2022, 2:04:29 AM
