Unique Jewels have been made too rare

Not sure if this is just my experience, but I feel unique jewels have been made entirely too scarce. I'm level 94 in sanctum with 19 days played, a few hundred maps cleared with at least 75 red maps. I haven't dropped a single one. Not even the stat conversion ones or primordials which by their respective market prices should be relatively common. I've double checked my filter's don't hide them just to be sure.
I agree with the patch notes that these should feel good to drop and therefore can be a bit rarer, but this is absurd.

Stat jewels are corruption-only and I believe the Primordials are a vendor recipe, now. Not that I disagree with your overall sentiment but it's worth mentioning.
This so much.

GGG's scarcity-fetish of late has just made the game more boring, imho.

I think it was meant to fix the problem of unique jewel conversions having 12 useless jewels in 3.19 and as far as i can tell that doesnt exist at all anymore lol. Being scarce is nice but its a little crazy right now that ive found over 10 natural divine drops not from altars and 0 unique jewels. I have 5 chars over lvl 95
For the corrupt ones, Vaal Temples and altars crap them out like crazy. I have like half a dozen of each of the stat ones already.
You mean you don't like the "crafting" (gambling) system in the game that destroys 75% of all currency put into it.

How else could people get stronger characters?

The passive tree from 13 years ago that gets adjusted a little bit and then nerfed every league.
Jewels that roll terrible mods that keep getting diluted.
Cluster jewels that just refuse to roll what you need.
Gear that needs 5 offcolors because sockets are stupid and always have been stupid and GGG admits they are stupid and are removing them in poe2.

Meanwhile they tell players they are getting stronger because items like original sin/ mageblood exist. what a joke. It really feels like they despise players in the endgame looking for small incremental upgrades.

True. I find myself starting the game, doing a couple of maps and closing it.
I see little to no point in playing it anymore.
I don't think the op was talking about corrupt only ones, at least i wasnt. Im talking about not seeing a unique jewel drop on the ground all league. The chances of getting unnatural instinct or intuitive leap to drop on the floor are probably on par with finding hh/mageblood now.
