Divines - They should not be tied to Blue Atlars and Archnemsis - It is lootgoblins in disguise.
It is bad game design that 5-20 divines drop from a single scenario, RNG (Archnem or Blue Altars), when 1-2 divines normaly drop througout 3-6 red t16 maps.
Lootglobins feels like a slot machine and i dont like it (Insert streamer voice) Map juicing does no longer make sense in the short and medium term because the player have to wait for a lootgoblin to spawn. Now, i like the recent changes to Archnemsis, but WTF is the arguement behind Blue Altars dropping 16+ divines in a single map? Make map-jucing and divine drops should be linear. It feels artificial to get 5-20 divines because you just pressed a Blue Altar or got a good Archnemsis. Meanwhile you waste map-jucing currency on 10 maps because they got unlucky with Altars and Archnem :/ Feels like a slot machine untop RNG. I love Ruthless and i hope you keep it going. Since the progression in Ruthless is slower, may i suggest to prolong the Ruthless leauges? Maybe for 2 leagues pr Last bumped on Dec 24, 2022, 1:00:11 AM

Divine loot goblins no longer exist.

You clearly do not actually understand how incredibly rare the divine orb blue altars are. People are running THOUSANDS of maps to get it once; you are literally more likely to drop a natural Headhunter than you are to hit the "eldritch monsters drop divine orbs" altar at the start of a map where you can take full advantage of it and get 20+ divine orbs.
This really is not an issue. |

Altars tied to fixed amount of loot = bad design overall. Please stop this loot goblin crap. There is no reason to mf or do deli or farm overjuiced content. The best strategy is to spam maps with growling hordes with pack size keystone. You dont even have interest to invest in your character just alch and go. Farmed hh in two weeks, lost all interest. Sanctums are giving out divines pretty consistently (2-4 divines per run). Would suggest trying that instead of relying on altars, especially if you can speedrun the maps to build up sanctum rooms fast.

While other people are currently parroting and trying to convince others that there's no loot goblin there is a loot goblin.. ask around on the endgame players and unless they are doing a challenge or they are somewhat farming something very specific from exarch most of the people went eater because of it.. a chance at the newest loot goblin aka altar..
There's very little you can say when everyone knows it's there.. regardless. Sanctums are also another bait, many people saying "oh after 3f divines start to rain" yeah fuck no, cut the bullshit.. it's all RNG. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words. poe2 = ruthless 2.0 = bad. |

To this day Diablo 1 had the best itemization in an ARPG.
Item types and rolls were based on dungeon level and there was no magic find. How is this better? Higher danger = better rewards. Drops are normalized so there's Magic Find meta. Bosses dropped more loot than normal enemies however any enemy could drop that golden chalice item you want. In general, simply playing was more consistent progression. In the current PoE you're poor, instantly rich then poor again. This new system also seriously hurts clickies. Chests, tombs etc. Believe it or not I've found 2 of 4 mirrors from clickies. They've tried so hard to be Diablo 2 they neglected that not all things were better over D1. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac
