Entered Abyssal Depth, killed a Sygian Vessel at boss and got trapped (3.487.369.339)

When I entered the Abyssal Depth boss fight with the sword fighter boss I fought him.
In the second Stygian Vessel room I died.
Then I went back into the map and fought him again. When he ported again I killed the third Stygian Vessel with about 40 seconds left, but no portal back to the main boss room spawned, I can't port outside of the map and are forced to get back to character selection.
