Start to hate this game
Again and again i die for no comprehensible reason and cant figure out what to do.
Just died twice in a map which had not red flag at all.
Spoiler
Yes, more cold damage incoming, but this should never kill me. No shrine, no ground effect, no Rogue Exile. What could possible have killed me that fast that i cant even react? The last time i died to a boss was maven. Its always the stupid mob. Not even enduring cry can save me. Its not reducing life, its from 100 to zero in a heartbeat. Its so annoying. Only mods that troubled me the last 300+ maps were reduced life recovery (which i dont run) and double phys damage mods in combination with some ground effects. Even reflected ele damage doesn't hurt me. What can i change to avoid these frustrating deaths? I consider to get rid of Skitterbots in exchange for Flesh and Stone + Defiance banner and maybe a new cluster setup to see if i could run purity of elements. I dont care about damage at all, i did beat Uber Elder deathless without skitterbots and mageblood. Can someone take a look where my weaknesses are? https://pastebin.com/NUDjnYvB Much appriciated Im bad at math. Probably not what you want to hear but, your build doesn't really have any glaring weaknesses. It's very well rounded. If anything then maybe that you lack corrupted blood immunity. You could switch the 20% reduced curse effect from prismatic skin cluster out for that. Depending on the cause 10 stacks of that can drain your life in a split second so it's the only single thing i can think off that might kill you.
Other than that it's just sheer mob quantity and/or bad luck. By that i mean a lot of stuff hitting you at the same time to a degree where your stat's aren't enough anymore (since you're max block with aegis it would have to a hell of a lot though and it likely would have to be chaos damage to leave any impact) and combinations of mods that are lethal. Ultimately you'll never be immortal in this game. At some point you just have to accept the fact that if the right combination of map/monster/altar mods comes together with the right monster combination, you'll die. Even more so if you don't pay much attention or are not familier with the special abilites of the monsters. You can switch around your stats all you like this isn't going to change. Switching skitterbots out for flesh and defiance banner will just make your build worse while not providing any meaningful defensive advantages. You can ask whoever you trust and look at any guide, i doubt anyone will ever tell you to use flesh and blood over skitterbots. Last edited by Baharoth15#0429 on Dec 11, 2022, 3:13:48 PM

He has Corrupted Blood immunity on his flask.
OP: If your goal is to level to 100, stop rolling your maps. Run them blank and you will 100% never die. You aren't losing much xp from doing so. |

" Its my mindset. When somethings not working, i try to fix it. If that doesnt work either, i fix it back :P " What? Really? All the time i thought the packsize multiplies the XP. Damnit! Its like alyways: most things in life arent as hard as we make it. Im bad at math. Last edited by LoTharios#3338 on Dec 11, 2022, 4:58:14 PM

You get a bit more vs. a white map if you are alching it. But try a map white and compare xp, the difference is pretty small.

" It does but you also have to take the time to roll stuff into account. And the RIPs, if you dont roll carefully too ^^ Overall the xp gain isnt worth the effort. Map sustain hasnt been an issue for years now either. So you can run maps white or blue and still sustain just fine. Even in a fresh league like right now. |

spec into Abyss and get scarabs
99-100 is like 160 T16 maps.. white d:-D*

" I already did. Abyss is easy and makes good profit. - Just switched 2 Jewels with increased RF+Trap Damage and immunity to Maim and Hinder. From now on i refuse to die!
Spoiler
still bitchin when i do though
Btw, my ES goes down from time to time and stays down. After enduring cry, it stays up. Which is strange because me ES regen is higher then my life regen. Any idea that might be? Makes me nervous. Im bad at math. Last edited by LoTharios#3338 on Dec 12, 2022, 3:02:54 PM

The bulk of your life and ES regen comes from consecreted ground. Consecreted ground lingers for 4 seconds after you move but if you move for longer than that it wears off along with most of your regen so RF will start to reduce your ES. You have to use a skill every now and then that causes you to be stationary, even if just for a split second, to refresh consecreted ground.
