PathOfExile.exe is not responding

Since a few weeks ago, I have been getting this error when launching PoE via Steam, I thought nothing of it because I had already leveled to 100 in Kalandra and was done with the league. I thought uninstalling & reinstalling via Steam would solve it before the league start, it didn't.

I tried repairing the game via Steam, it didn't solve it.
I tried clearing all my cache folders, it didn't solve it.
I tried installing the standalone launcher, it didn't solve it. Same issue.

I am now 2 hours past the league start and can't launch the game at all after countless attempts.

Side note: the standalone 3.19 alpha build for Ruthless testing worked just fine during all this time, it would still work if the servers were still accessible, I am only experiencing this issue with live PoE somehow.

Help please! I'd really like to play Ruthless 3.20 as I loved the alpha.

Fixed it by removing the configs.

I have same problem too, iam trying to find a way out.

Delete the path of exile folder in Documents
